Karol Nawrocki spoke for the first time as president in a conversation with the media. For his first interview since taking office he chose the right-wing station – tv Republic. The conversation was led by Danuta Dutch, who worked on TVP during the PiS. While talking to Nawrocki, she was very kind and smiling.
The interview had a somewhat different expression – it was held outside and had a large audience of residents of Kolbuszowa. most likely Nawrocki wanted to show how open he was to Poles. It looked a small like a rally.
Nawrocki gave his first interview as president
– I want to carry out my commitments until the first day," Nawrocki said, adding that he had already begun to submit his first legislative initiatives, including the CPK and lower taxes for families with children.
– The year 2032 as the minute of operation of the CPK is essential and was declared by the initiators themselves. Poles feel that we request it – for reasons of security, communication, tourism and economics. I believe, however, that the Polish parliament will bend over this task and we will return to the real CPK that Poles request – it is dead.
As he recalled, his proposals present relate to low, simple and pro-family taxes. – The president of Poland was the man who will support Polish families. Fulfilling my contract is simply a consequence not only to the demographic crisis, but besides to what the Poles anticipate – he stressed.
Let us remind you: on Wednesday, Karol Nawrocki officially assumed the office of President, taking an oath before the National Assembly. Already a day later, on Thursday, he presented his first individual decisions – he announced the composition of the President's Chancellery.
Among the closest co-workers of the fresh head of state were both experienced officials and individuals associated with Nawrocki's earlier activities, including the IPN.
