Is cooperation possible between Donald Tusk's government and the recently elected president Charles Nawrock? The latest opinion24 poll for RMF FM shows how Poles justice the chance that politicians will get along. 1 group is peculiarly pessimistic.


Most anticipate cold relationships

The question of who would show greater willingness to cooperate – the president or the government – the largest percent of respondents (37%) replied that neither organization would be peculiarly curious in the agreement.

18% of respondents indicated that Donald Tusk's government would be more open to cooperation, and 19% considered that the initiative would come from Karol Nawrocki.

Only 5% of the respondents estimated that cooperation between the president and the Prime Minister could be exemplary – with equal desire on both sides. all 5th individual (21%) was incapable to indicate how this relation would turn out.

Skepticism independent of age, sex and residence

The deficiency of religion in the anticipation of constructive dialog concerns almost all social groups. That was the opinion expressed by 35% of men and 39% of women.

The top pessimism prevails among young Poles aged 18-29 – as much as 45 percent of them believe that cooperation between the government and the president will be insignificant.

Also, geographical analysis does not show much optimism. In cities with between 100 and 500,000 inhabitants, 41% of respondents felt that the government and the president would be reluctant. In the village, 40 percent feel the same way. Only in the largest cities the consequence was somewhat lower – 30 percent, although there was a dominant response.

Party loyalty translates into evaluation

The political preferences of the respondents are clearly translated into who they attribute greater openness to cooperation. Among the voters of Law and Justice, 45 percent indicate that president Karol Nawrocki will be inclined to agree. On the another hand, 46 percent of supporters of the Civic Coalition believe that Prime Minister Donald Tusk will be the first to scope out. Interestingly, 41 percent of the KO electorate does not believe in the cooperation of both politicians.

Even more pessimism prevails among Confederate voters – as many as 47 percent of them say that neither the president nor the government will show goodwill. 26 percent of this group thin towards the president, and only 11 percent towards the government.

Test methodology

The survey was conducted by Opinion24 for RMF FM on 9-12 June 2025. It was attended by 1003 adults. The questionnaires were conducted by a mixed method: telephone (CATI) and net (CAWI).
