It was another hot day in Polish politics. We just cooled off after 2 presidential debates in Konski on Friday. On Monday (14 April), tv Republic reorganised its debate, this time in Warsaw studio.
And I guess no 1 had any uncertainty that at Tomasz Sakiewicz's station the PiS candidate would gotta feel like a fish in the water. Eventually, Karol Nawrocki played this match "at his own home", at his own stadium, that is at the tv headquarters, which supports the PiS, praises the PiS and criticizes everything the Coalition does on October 15.
Nawrocki did not shine at the debate in the Republic. due to the fact that there was no Trzaskovsky?
Meanwhile, Nawrocks on tv Republic just fell pale. In Monday's battle, to which a full of 10 candidates and candidates stood, he was even unnoticed. He was expected to shine, grind and shoot rivals goal after goal. And I will remember his share of the fact that – quoting president Kaczyński after Joe Biden visited Poland in 2023 – "he said nothing".
Several times Nawrocki – in his replacement behind Trzaskowski – tried to hit Simon Holovnia. possibly he wanted to bite off for the fact that on Friday the talker of the Sejm and the leader of Poland 2050 questioned him in Konski from the presidents of respective European countries.
– Without the engagement of your environment, Donald Tusk would not rule," said the PiS candidate to the leader of Poland 2050.
And in Question Time, he asked the Holovnia about TVP and the regulation of law. And that question wasn't besides advanced either, as if his staff had no idea.
“If – as you say – it was broken during erstwhile governments (lawfulness – ed.), what do you call the situation in which during the last debate government television, subsidised by the government of Donald Tusk, possibly broke the law?” Nawrocki asked.
And he added: "It's television, which received PLN 3.5 billion from public money, which was to go to children with cancer. The same tv called you a political plankton and a third-class candidate. I'm just saying, how do you feel about that?
Let us add that the Holovnia rather accurately reposted his question and replied that Nawrocki's supporters called it much worse.
At the end of the debate, Nawrocki besides hit Donald Tusk and absent in the studio (except for a short episode with a cardboard image) candidate KO. – Rafał Trzaskowski, who is on this full team, including Donald Tusk's team, is ideivating not only the Polish school today, but besides ideologicalizing the Polish social economy," he said in consequence to the question "How much is gender?".
Meanwhile, the PiS candidate besides said that he was against the introduction of the euro in Poland and that he would not let the Poles "take distant the gold". He besides said that "the most harmful to the wellness of Poles is that Donald Tusk's government rules". And that it will correct our relations with the "German State" and reconstruct the "appropriate partnership relations", due to the fact that the actions of the Tusk government are "a reversed Prussian tribute".
Was that brilliant? Discover? I want you to justice for yourselves. If I didn't know, I'd think that the head of the government wanted to become president and he didn't come to tv Republic for a debate – so many times Nawrocki changed Tusk's name in the studio.
After Monday's debate, I will remember Sławomir Mentzen more, who, in consequence to all question, encouraged to vote for himself and convinced that he had the "best chance of defeating Rafał Trzaskowski in the second circular of the presidential election".
More I will remember Grzegorz Braun, who even reprimanded Mark Jakubiak for bringing the Trzaskowski image into the studio.
And the Nawrocks? Without Trzaskowski, he looks like a kid in the fog.
