Nawrocks or Mentzens? Who's going on the second tour? [SONDAJ]

72 percent of Poles believe that the second circular of the presidential election will be taken by the candidate KO Rafał Trzaskowski - according to the latest investigation by CBOS. Karol Nawrocki, supported by the Law, points to 50% of respondents, while the candidate of the Confederation Sławomir Mentzen - 42 percent.


The majority of respondents do not give a chance to compete in the second circular of presidential elections to another candidates (although not all of them were included in the study).

According to the CBOS survey, the vast majority of Poles - 72 percent, give a chance to enter the second circular of elections to the KO candidate Rafał Trzaskowski. Supported by PiS Karol Nawrocki indicates 50% of respondents, while the Confederate candidate Sławomir Mentzen - 42 percent.

6% of respondents believe that the second circular will be attended by the head of Poland 2050 Simon Holovnia, and after 2 percent they think they will be a candidate of the Left Magdalena Biejat and Euro MPs Grzegorz Braun.

Among the remaining candidates by name was mentioned leader Together Adrian Zandberg and Republican candidate Marek Jakubiak1 percent of respondents are convinced to participate in the second round. no of the respondents indicated Krzysztof Stanowski. 1% indicated option "another candidate". 9% of respondents could not answer that question.

Survey: Winner Trzaskowski

If the second circular of presidential elections were held now and its participants would be Rafał Trzaskowski and Karol Nawrocki, the winner would be the first of them. 46 percent of Poles would be ready to vote for an KO candidate, while 36 percent of the full eligible to vote would be voted as a candidate supported by the Law and Justice Office.

With this set of candidates, almost 1 in 7 of the respondents would not support any of them and would give a void vote (8%), or would not vote at all (7%). 3 percent of people do not know how they would behave in this situation.

"If we presume that all those protesting elections in this arrangement and 'non-decision' voters would yet not go to vote, then Rafał Trzaskowski would gain 56% of the votes, while Karol Nawrocki 44 percent" - emphasises CBOS.

The survey was conducted on 17-20 March utilizing computer-assisted telephone interviews and net interviews. It was attended by 1003 Polish residents.

This year's presidential election will be held on 18 May. Any second circular will be held on 1 June.
