Colonel Rafał Syrysko, the head of the interior safety Agency, issued a message on Monday (5 May) regarding false media information on the engagement of ABW in the presidential campaign.

"With respect to false information provided by any media about the engagement of the interior safety Agency in the ongoing presidential campaign, I declare that, contrary to repeated insinuations, the ABW at no phase and in no form has engaged or engaged in the run on the side or against any candidate," we read.
"This information compromises the good name of the service and the Agency's officers, and I plan to take appropriate legal steps" - stressed.
"Formulation at the interior safety Agency of false allegations of the usage in the presidential run of any material from proceedings conducted in the ABW is detrimental to the safety of the Republic of Poland, the image of the service and completely unauthorisedly distorts its activity as a state office and exposes the service to failure of public confidence," said Colonel Syrysko.
Controversy of Nawrocki's second apartment
Let us remind you that Nawrocki's spokeswoman, Emilia Wierzbicki, accused the service of interfering with the election run even before the fresh article Onet appeared.
"Using presently a bachelor's case to attack Karol Nawrocki proves that a dirty peculiar service run was involved. However, he did not say how he came into possession of the flat and whether it was a purchased municipal resource.
– The man I've been helping for years is now in DPS. I besides received this information, just as the media received it. All legal and property issues of this flat were clarified during the many months of the ABW investigation, erstwhile I received a certificate of access to EU top secret information," Nawrocki said.
Mr Jerzy, according to Onetu's findings and information from the authorities of Gdańsk, is presently in 1 of the DPS. The cost of maintaining it is borne by the state – it is almost 100,000 per year.
