This year's National March for Life and household will be held on Sunday 18th June. Participants of the nationwide event, as well as all local marches, will march under the common motto: “Children of the Future of Poland”.
“Meet me that day as much as possible to affirm life and household together. To show the full Poland that there is nothing more valuable than a happy, healthy family, based on an inextricable relation between a female and a man open to having children. But besides in order to convince about the inalienable dignity of all life – even the smallest 1 or the sick one" - says the Centre of Life and Family, the long-standing organizer and coordinator of the Marches for Life and Family.
As indicated, this year's general Polish event is scheduled for Sunday, June 18th and will traditionally take place in Warsaw. Organizers emphasize that this year all Marches will pass under the common motto: “Children of the Future of Poland”. “We want to draw attention to the very hard demographic situation in Poland and the fact that last year the least children have been born in our country since planet War II. In 2022 only 305 1000 children were born in Poland. Maintaining this trend will mean that in about 80 years, Poland will have only 21 million citizens – says Paweł Ozoba, president of the Centre of Life and Family.
Organizers emphasize that contemporary cultural patterns discourage young people from having children. The dedication, dedication and resignation of many life pleasures become unattractive in comparison with the contemporary “culture” model of life without obligations.
"Modern cultural patterns are not conducive to the decision on offspring, but increasingly they only affect having children with educational difficulties, tremendous costs and restrictions on individual and professional development. Not to mention anti-natalist ideologies, according to which each next kid is simply a deadly threat to the planet," says the Life and household Centre.
The organizers besides point out that this year's March slogan can besides be understood in another context – not only demographic. "Children of the Future of Poland" can besides be understood as the request to pay attention to a number of ideological and digital dangers that are waiting for children almost all step of the way.
