MON deputy chief Stanisław Wiątek reported at the session of the legislature Committee on National Defence that the implementation of the defence budget for the year 2024 was 99.91% and stressed that it was a record-breaking implementation of plans. According to the Deputy Minister, the defence budget for 2024 was 117 billion PLN 586 million.
During the committee meeting, Senators listened to information from the deputy chief of the MON on the implementation of the state budget in part 29 "National Defence" during the period from 1 January to 30 November 2024. – Budget law in accordance with Defense Act The country assumed that national defence spending should be no little than 3% of GDP.
