NASA: 3 Americans and Italy will fly on the Artemis III mission

NASA's American space agency present announced that 3 Americans and 1 Italy would be included in the crew of Artemis III, who would test the docking of the Orion capsule with a lunar landing vessel.

As reported by NASA during the press conference, the crew of Artemis III will be commander Randy Bresnik of NASA, Luca Parmitano of the European Space Agency (ESA) as pilot and astronauts of NASA Andre Douglas and Frank Rubio as mission specialists. For Douglas, it will be the first space flight in his career. The reserve flight astronaut was Bob Hines, besides from NASA.

As part of Artemis III, astronauts will be elevated with a SLS rocket and Orion capsule to a low Earth orbit, where they will test Orion's docking to a lander or lunar lander to be created by SpaceX and/or Blue Origin.
