THE MOST TIME!
date:18 March 2024 Editor: GKut

Farmers' protests do not always meet with understanding, let alone the support of the remainder of society. Blocking streets, roads and highways is onerous for anyone who needs to move. It is hard for people who are not farmers to realize the economical mechanisms that find the cost-effectiveness of farming. Therefore, the banners of the farmers protesting the slogan “You'll feel a farmer's hunger” to make the public aware that farmers are not fighting in their welds but in our common cause.

If individual has not understood this so far, they will most likely realize now, after the last European Parliament decision of 12 March this year. That day, the EP adopted a green order "Directive on the Energy Characteristics of Buildings". While green governance has been straight affecting farmers and the remainder of the population has been indirectly affected so far, the Building Directive straight affects everyone without exception. All due to the fact that it refers to single-family houses and multi-residential buildings. Each of us, regardless of age, work done, political views or another preferences, lives in either a multi-family or a single-family building. And all these buildings are to be zero-emission by 2040.
It sounds good – like everything in green order – but what does it mean in practice? He explained it perfectly on the radio. In the net, a specialist in construction, CEO of Eko-plus company Maciej Chosiński, who has over 30 years of experience in the heating industry. He explained on the example of a standard 150 m2 single-family home built in accordance with applicable regulations, thus having a 10 centimetre insulating layer, gas heating, two-glazed windows and gravitational ventilation. In accordance with the directive adopted by the European Parliament, the owner of specified a building will gotta renovate the home at his own expense. What's the cost? This is precisely what president Eko-plus Mr Maciej Chosiński calculated:
  • Increase of insulation layer of the building from 10 to 20 cm (styrofoam) - 120 000 PLN
  • Exchange of gas furnace for heat pump and exchange of radiators - 60,000 PLN
  • Replacement of the full window joinery with two- to three-speed - 50,000 PLN
  • Installation of mechanical ventilation with heat recovery - 40 000 PLN
  • Installation of photovoltaics with energy "magazine" - 60 000 PLN
  • General / final renovation related to the investment scale - PLN 20 000

Total: PLN 350 000

All these items will be – I am sorry, they are mandatory, due to the fact that the European Parliament has already passed it. It must be remembered that the scale of investment across the country will be so immense that both the essential materials and the labour force will be lacking. This will consequence in a crucial increase in prices compared to those shown in the calculations above and applicable today. What happens if individual simply cannot afford to pay specified an astronomical amount? He will gotta pay from 2027, or little than 3 years from now, the yearly taxation on "greenhouse gas emissions", or the punishment for failing to comply with the mad Eurocrats. It needs to be made clear that this does not apply to old, tens of years old buildings, but besides to buildings built only a fewer years ago.

I can already hear the comments of many of our countrymen, that's impossible, it won't take. I repeat, it has already taken hold, alternatively it has already been accepted, it has already been voted on whether anyone likes it or not. In the face of large danger, people do not let themselves to think about the scale of this threat. erstwhile Germans created a ghetto in occupied Warsaw, many Jews moved to the ghetto voluntarily. They realized it would be a form of imprisonment, a form of humiliation, that they would be robbed or even tormented. But they did not realize that the intent of the Germans was not to persecute Jews but to destruct them. This was the attitude of the Jews at the time historians call “the mistake of innocent people who thought so” (quoted by prof. Jack Leociak).

Although my comparison may be considered besides drastic, let us not make a mistake today, which past will see as an innocent error, innocent, due to the fact that it is due to a deficiency of awareness of the imminent threat. The current European Union is not the Union which Poland joined in 2004. The European Union has been taken over by madly possessed people, and it is going down like an equal slope to destruction. Out of nowhere, the hope of remembering and reversing these destructive processes. It is so time to ask whether Poland should leave the European Union. It's about time.

I make an authoritative request for the preparation of a civilian proposal in accordance with Article 125 of the Constitution to submit to a national referendum matters of peculiar importance to the state and citizens, namely cases of Poland's withdrawal from the European Union. I declare that you immediately sign on this motion. It's about time!

Mr Bogdan
