The largest of Poles - a wonderful work for the 20th anniversary of the death of John Paul II
date:23 March 2025 Editor: Anna

On April 2, 2025, 20 years passed since John Paul II left for the Father's House.
Jolanta Sosnowska and photography master Adam Bujak in the latest book "The top of Polish Families" (White Raven) reconstruct the memory of St. John Paul II the Great, showing him as he truly was. The lesson is simply a proof of the holiness of the large man who, from his earliest years, faithfully followed Christ, preaching his teaching to the last breath, the man who contributed to the processing of our times on many levels—spiritual, social and political.

The largest of Poles – this word for John Paul II appeared already at the beginning of his pontificate, and was later widely spoken with pride on many occasions, in thousands of places, by people of the Church and by average believers, but besides by politicians and mass media, including those who present fight Pope Pole so fiercely. The admiration and respect of the Holy Father, shown to him in his lifetime, are perfectly visible in the large photographs of the large artist Adam Bujak. We see the behaviour of John Paul II and his attitude – truly in proportion to holiness. We see incredible enthusiasm and large emotion of people gathering him.

His personality has been formed consistently since childhood and mediate school years through profoundly Catholic and highly patriotic education, which characterized the Second Republic. This book is simply a moving communicative about the selected crucial moments of life and Karol Wojtyla, and John Paul II. Many unknown facts and different events are described by popular and appreciated biographer of Pope Jolant Sosnowska.

The word and image are intertwined in this book – we are besides dealing with a large editorial work. We return to that wonderful, unforgettable time erstwhile Pope Wojtyła watched over the Church, over the world, and in a peculiar way over his fellow countrymen – the large Pole.

The evidence of his greatness is evident. Unfortunately present there are slanders in relation to this truly largest Polish family. They are sown by godless and anti-Poles in order to spread confusion among Catholics and to separate us from our national identity. Let us look at the pages of this book: we have in our hand proof of how he was valued, how he was loved all over the world. And present he is not made anywhere – but his own homeland... All in the framework of the current war of the civilization of death against the civilisation of life, which St.John Paul II warned about so many times, and which besides warmed up on our Polish land.

After his death on April 2, 2005, it was written on banners: we will never forget you! This book is to: not to forget – both the individual and the act of the largest of Poles.
