The largest number of illegal EU border crossings since 2016. Frontex summed up last year

Frontex, the European Border and Coast defender Agency, summed up the number of illegal crossings of the EU border last year. Preliminary estimates indicate that there were around 380 thousand. Compared to 2022, this is an increase of 17 percent. Moreover, this is the largest number of illegal crossings since 2016.
