Changes in scarlet berets are coming

The Military Gendarmery was established on 30 September 1990, based on the prevention unit of the then disbanded Military interior Service (WSW). The Second Division of the WSW, i.e. counterintelligence on the same day, was merged with the Management Board of the Second Intelligence Staff of the HR into 1 Board of the Second Intelligence and Counterintelligence of the General Staff of the HR (since 1 September 1991, Head of Military Information Services).
