During the order work in the park surrounding the Duke's Castle in Wałbrzych, 1 of the gardeners found a mysterious object. It turned out to be a badge from the 1920s of the Berlin Freemular Lodge Frederick the large – Prometheus.
A badge of about 100 years old was found during the order work that the princely gardeners performed at the shrubs of rhododendrons on the way leading off the road asphalt towards the viewing point of the Giant Tomb. The discovered object was deposited by the Museum and Education Department of the Prince's Castle in the appropriate conditions in the armored cabinet, and its care is managed by the Archaeology Mist of Catherine Sielicka, Head of the Department.
- Due to the connection between the finds and our monument and its educational and exhibition qualities, we applied for approval to store it in the Castle of the Prince, where it will be included in the inventory of moving monuments. The above find was reported to the Lower Silesian Provincial Conservator of the Monuments of the Delegation in Wałbrzych – explains the press spokesperson of the Castle of Prince...
