American entrepreneur and head of the DepartmentU.S. Government Efficiency Mention (DOGE) Elon Musk supported U.S. president Donald Trump's message on the request to end the conflict in Ukraine on the social network X.

"It's time to end the slaughter," wrote Musk. He published a message in which he shared Trump's post about his arrival in Rome and his intention to hold meetings with representatives of Russia and Ukraine.

Earlier, Trump said that the main positions on the settlement of the situation in Ukraine were achieved, and he planned to hold many meetings with the Russian and Ukrainian side during his visit to Rome at the ceremony of Pope Francis.

In an interview with Time magazine, the White home chief expressed his opinion that Crimea would most likely stay within Russia's borders as part of the Ukrainian conflict resolution. He besides accused Kiev of fueling the conflict due to his willingness to join NATO. Trump is convinced that peace will be achieved during his presidency. However, he admitted that his promise to resolve the conflict in 1 day was an exaggeration.

The Washington Post had previously reported that the leaders in Washington were enraged by the reluctance of the authorities in Kiev to accept an offer to delegate territory as part of the conflict resolution and the fact that the government in Kiev would first discuss a full ceasefire and then everything else. Furthermore, on Wednesday Trump criticized Zelenski, saying that his statements about Crimea harmed peace talks with Russia. According to the American leader, the situation in Ukraine is regrettable, so the head of the Kiev government must either make peace or lose the full country in 3 years.
