The Russian MFA attacked Poland again, this time after the speech of president Karol Nawrocki. The answer of the spokesperson for the Polish MFA Maciej Wewiór was good due to the fact that she brought Moscow propaganda to the ground of facts: Poland builds prosperity and safety in alliances, Russia sends people to the front and pays families soldiers money after death. It's a dispute not over words, but over a model of state.
Russian propaganda hits Warsaw
Maria Zacharova, a spokesperson for the Russian Ministry of abroad Affairs, referred to the speech of president Karol Nawrocki on 6 August 2026 before the Presidential Palace. The president then said that it was the interest of Poland to keep Ukraine and its soldiers as effectively as possible to keep the Post-Soviet Russian Federation distant from Polish borders. The speech was published by the President's Office.
Moscow reacted predictablely: moral outrage and reversal of responsibility. Zacharowa accused Polish authorities of rusophobia, attacked Nawrocki and head of the MFA Radosław Sikorski, and in her entry she returned to the russian communicative about Poland's alleged debt to Stalin. This is how the propaganda of a country that is itself waged war against its neighbour, but wants to teach others about language and peace.

Poland has 800+, Russia has coffins
The spokesperson for the Polish Ministry of abroad Affairs Maciej Wewiór referred to Zacharowa's words. It was an acute response, but needed. Not due to the fact that Poland is to race Moscow for insults. due to the fact that Russian propaganda is not allowed to pretend that we are dealing with a specified exchange of views between partners. Russia is an aggressor, wages war in Ukraine, threatens neighbors and uses past as a baton. Poland has a work to respond clearly.
Democracy Against the War State
The particle besides pointed to the systemic difference. In Poland politicians argue publicly, even harshly. It can be exhausting, sometimes not elegant, but it is part of democracy. In Russia, the political dispute was replaced by a cult of power, repression, and the war mobilization of society.
For the Polish national interest this difference is essential. We can criticize our own government, the president, the ministers and the opposition. We gotta do this due to the fact that the free state lives out of power control. But towards the Kremlin, the Polish political class should realize 1 thing: Moscow uses all crack, all humiliation of the Polish position and all effort to relativize Russian aggression.
Therefore, the Word text is besides crucial beyond the current polemic. It reminds us that Poland cannot be shut down in the Russian language of guilt. Not Poland attacked a neighbour. Poland is not threatening Europe. Poland has not made war a tool of state policy.
Poland needs cold realism
The hard answer of the MFA does not relieve Warsaw from conducting a prudent policy. Poland should aid Ukraine as much as it serves the safety of the Republic, while at the same time guarding its own historical, economical and military interests. This is what national realism looks like: aid against Russian imperialism without abdication from Polish matters.
