The Ministry of abroad Affairs powerfully advises against travelling to Russia. There are besides negative recommendations on expeditions to Ukraine, Israel and the Gaza Strip. "In spite of the guidelines of the Ministry of abroad Affairs, we are exposing not only ourselves but Poland to the costs of possible evacuation" - reminds Radosław Sikorski. MFA warnings. Negative recommendations for travel to Russia and Israel, among others

Ministry of abroad Affairs advises Polish citizens not to travel to Russian Federationand besides keeps negative recommendations for expeditions to Ukraine, Israel and Gaza Strip.

At the same time, the Ministry stresses that information is only recommendationswhich may not constitute a basis for claims. The MFA has no legal anticipation to prohibit entry into any country.

Current recommendations are worth checking on government websites. The warnings are divided into 4 groups:

1. Be (ordinary) careful – means a level of threat close to Poland.

2. Take peculiar care – means the level of hazard higher than in Poland.

3. MFA advises against travel that is unnecessary – means the level of danger much higher than in Poland. In our opinion, travel is essential for professional purposes, urgent household matters, etc. – we exclude tourist destinations from this category. The final decision whether a journey is essential is for the citizen.

4. MFA advises against all travel – means the highest level of danger. All travel, including for professional and urgent household matters, is advised against.
