Mr. George is the tip of the iceberg. The elder minister has a fresh plan

The controversy around Karol Nawrocki is increasing. The PiS candidate was expected to pass the sick Mr. George flat a fewer years ago without providing him with the care promised in return. It was the media that found out that the elder had been on DPS for over a year. In the conversation briefly and on the subject the substance is commented by Minister Marzena Okła-Drewnowicz, who is liable for elder policy. “Unfortunately, erstwhile elder citizens transfer their flat as part of a life contract and are later left unattended, there is rather a lot,” says Okła-Drewnowicz.


Minister Marzena Okła-Drewnowicz believes that the protection of elder citizens is insufficient. “New rules are needed to safeguard the interests of older people,” he says in the short and on the subject. The politician emphasizes that interministerial cooperation is needed to defend pensioners from fraud. At the same time, he points out that he does not find whether Karol Nawrocki is simply a con artist. In her opinion, what is known to the public in the context of taking over Mr. George's flat looks disastrous for the PiS candidate to be president.

Let us remind that the case will be investigated by the prosecution – Magdalena Biejat, Vice-Marshalkini of the Senate, who, like Nawrocki, competes in the presidential election, made a notification of the suspected crime, but from the left.



In an interview with the Minister for elder Policy, he points out that seniors are victims of various kinds of fraud. There are cyber criminals, vendors of all kinds of "wonderful" specifics, or extortioners utilizing the "granddaughter" method, and this is not an exhaustive list. Min. Marzena Okła-Drewnowicz says that according to Tuesday's announcement by Prime Minister Donald Tusk, work on recommendations to aid take care of pensioners and prevent their use.
