It was only expected to be a parliamentary intervention, and now there is an intervention in the PiS. Politicians of Jarosław Kaczyński's organization – Kazimierz Smolinski and Dorota Arcziewska-Mielewczyk – went to the Sopot City Hall on Monday. They were not alone – they were accompanied by camera staff supporting PiS tv in Poland24, who conducted live coverage. It was during this account that the PiS MPs gave the exact address of Donald Tusk's flat in Sopot.
– This is protected data and I so decided to study this fact to the president of the Office for individual Data Protection, but besides to the lawyer General and to the Minister of Home Affairs and Administration," said Sopot president Magdalena Czarzyńska-Jachim, whose words from the Tuesday press conference quoted Onet. Journalists of the portal called a PiS MP and MP asking for comment on the incidental involving them, but neither Smolinski nor Arcziewska-Mielewczyk answered the phone.
This is why the PiS MPs revealed Donald Tusk's address
Members of Jarosław Kaczyński's organization went to the Sopot City Hall to get information about a peculiar housing unit as part of the parliamentary intervention (they provided its exact address and the number of the perpetual book in live coverage), which belongs to Donald Tusk. The intervention ended in obtaining information that the flat that the PiS Members asked for was never a municipal place. Earlier, however, on air in Poland24 Dorota Arcziewska-Mielewczyk and Kazimierz Smolinski insinuated that Prime Minister Donald Tusk had obtained the said flat (as they falsely claimed – municipal) in an unworthy way.
The PiS Members' intervention, during which the law was violated, may be an effort to divert attention from the housing scandal of the PiS candidate in the presidential election. Even before the first round, it was revealed that Karol Nawrocki, the president of the IPN, obtained the flat of the sick Mr. George in exchange for care. However, he failed to fulfill his promise – the older man landed in the DPS, and the PiS candidate did not really know it until the journalists revealed it.
