Several attacks brought Christians in northern Mozambique armed with jihadist rifles linked to the self-appointed muslim State.

In Niassa Province, muslim radicals set fire to the church and forced nearly 3,000 people to leave their homes. At least 1 individual was killed and 11 were abducted, as reported by local police. They clarified that among the targets destroyed by attackers is simply a tourist hotel owned by Portuguese coach Carlos Queiroz. The harm done there is worth over $3.5 million.
