Chadese Prime Minister of Saxony Michael Kretschmer called for a softening of sanctions against Russia, which sparked protests on the Green side. The leader of the parliamentary faction of this organization in the Bundestag Britta Hasselmann criticized on Sunday Kretschmer and demanded the elimination of the "Moscow connections" in the CDU.
