Moscow's authoritative relations with the Taliban government in Afghanistan are coming to a fresh level: Russia agreed to be taken over by the ambassador of the authorities in Kabul.

The Ambassador is to be appointed soon. As a consequence of the “warming” of relations with Afghanistan, the “Taliban” organisation was deleted from the Russian list of terrorist groups.

Russia is the 3rd country in the planet to bring relations with the Taliban to a fresh diplomatic level. China and the United arabian Emirates have so far agreed to the arrival of the Afghan ambassador.

Russia's MFA stated that it hoped to build mutually beneficial relations in all areas, including combating terrorism and combating drug trafficking. At the same time, Moscow inactive does not recognise the Afghan Government due to the fact that it does not respect human rights and does not let representatives of cultural minorities to rule.
