Moscow Court of Arbitration seizedthe property of 1 of the most influential people in Russia's fresh history, the author of privatization, Anatoly Czubajs and 7 of his associates. The amount of property occupied is 5.6 billion rubles.
Czubajs was sued by the state-owned company “Rosnano” for embezzlement of money intended to make the first Russian tablet. The task started in 2009 and ended in a disaster. As early as 2012, led by Czubajs, the company "Rosnano" resigned its intention to open a tablet mill in Russia. The money from the failed task did not return to the budget, and was utilized to finance companies registered abroad.
In 2011, Anatolij Czubajs presented Putin with a model of a Russian tablet and stated that he had “no counterparts worldwide”. The cost of its production was to be 12,000 Russian rubles. However, no of the tablets yet hit the Russian market.
Czubajs headed "Rosnano" from 2008 to 2020. After Russian aggression in Ukraine, he left the country. Neither earlier nor later did the entrepreneur comment on Vladimir Putin's policy. After any time, the Russian president stated that Czubajs had left fearing criminal work for his activities in the company "Rosnano".
