"Murderers Go Home". In Greece, activists stopped transporting American weapons

According to reports from Bulgarian media, members of the Communist organization of Greece and its youth KNU organization stopped a train carrying American military equipment from the port of Alexandropolis to Bulgaria and prompted it to change direction.

According to the portal Bulgarian Military in their Sunday account, members of the Communist organization of Greece and their youth organisation KNU intervened to prevent the further transport of American military equipment across Greek territory.

“KKE and KNU members blocked the train at Alexandropolis railway station. They faced a train with banners and flags and forced the train to stop. They demanded that he return and that the assassins from the US and NATO leave Alexandropolis and the full region," says a message by Greek communists.

The banner of the protesters said: “No military mission abroad. halt participating in the wars of the United States, NATO and the EU. There is hope in the fight of the people”

On the another hand, there were signs on the cars carrying the weapons: “Murderers are returning home”.

“We condemn the usage of port, railway network, camps in this NATO area by the oppressors of nations, who now carry dangerous military equipment by trains and trucks to the Bulgarian border”, Stavros Bazas said.

Bazas besides criticized the Greek government for providing weapons systems that are essential to defend Ukraine.
