A tragic F-16 fighter accident shook Poland. According to the media, the Ministry of Defence made a extremist decision after the Radom disaster.


The accident occurred on Thursday 28 August in the evening hours in Radom. The F-16 fighter crashed and went up in flames. Major Maciej "Slab" Krakowian, who died on the spot, sat behind the airplane's controls.

As unofficially established by Virtual Poland, the Ministry of National Defence decided that military participation in air shows is suspended until further notice. The hotel is scheduled to announce this information on Friday 29 August.

As we wrote in naTemat.pl, after a tragic accident in the media space there were questions about the meaning of specified events. Citizens questioned the participation of active soldiers in the shows. General Wiesław Kukuła, Head of the General Staff of the Polish Army, took the floor.
