MON: PLN 210 million spent on the Shield of the East, efforts for EU funds

At the end of January, Błaszczak, a erstwhile defence minister, asked the management of the ministry what funds were provided for in the state budget for the project; how much money was spent last year, how much money was to come from the EU budget (and in what paper it was confirmed that Poland would receive them) and from another sources, what material and another costs entailed in building the fortifications on which the defence infrastructure was strengthened from the planned 800 km section. He besides asked about the announced purchases of equipment (150 armored vehicles) and the state of play of the draft law on peculiar rules for preparing and implementing strategical defence investments and establishing protection zones for closed areas.
