The Latvian authorities reported that 841 Russian citizens surviving in the country received an order to leave the territory by 13 October 2025. The decision concerns persons who have not met the fresh residence requirements, including, in particular, the work to confirm Latvian proficiency at level A2 and another statutory criteria. According to Latvian Public Television, the Ministry of Citizenship and Migration (PMLP) has sent letters on this issue.
