The request for greater clarity
On Tuesday evening there was a gathering of the Polish 2050-TD parliamentary club. Mirosław Suchoń then resigned as chairman, citing individual considerations. Suchoń led the club's work for a year, forming a squad composed mainly of fresh MPs.
Still, any sources propose that resignation may be associated with planned changes in the club. 1 of the Polish 2050 politicians noted that in the context of the upcoming presidential elections, the club must act more effectively and actively, which has late been a challenge.
Onet determined that 1 of the ideas to revive the club's activities was to increase the number of board members. Until now, only 2 people have been included: Mirosław Suchoń and Marcin Skoneczka.
Who's the fresh boss?
In the coming days, the club plans to elect a fresh president or president and a bureau. The PAP's information shows that Mr Paweł Sliz, who is chair of the Parliamentary Committee on Justice and Human Rights and vice-president of the Pegasus Committee of Inquiry, has the best chance of taking the position.
Suchoń has not yet spoken on social media about his resignation.
