Among those released was Siarhi Cichanouski – the husband of the leader of the Belarusian opposition Swiatlana Cichanouska. His release sparked his wife's emotional reaction, which has been fighting for human rights and the release of prisoners of conscience in his country for years. “My husband is free!” declared Cichanouska on social media, publishing a video of the household gathering after nearly 5 years of separation.
