Million punishment for Resigning German Transporters

In May 2022 Slovenia announced that [it intends to get 45 wheeled armored transporters Boxer](https://defence24.pl/power-arms/slowen-sets-on-wheel-bwp-ze-spike) in respective variants, including a combat infantry car, via the OCCAR organization, which coordinates European armament projects. It was then informed that the contract, which besides included first support for operation, was to amount to about EUR 281 million net. However, already [the autumn of the same calendar period](https://defence24.pl/defence-policy/slowen-ne-wan-bwp-German) the fresh Slovenian government announced that it did not intend to implement the agreement. The decision to resign from the Boxers was to be taken after an audit was carried out on behalf of the Ministry of Defence there.
