Billion on the defence of the EU. Polish armaments almost absent

The European Commission has published the results of the European Defence Fund 2023 competition. A small over a billion euros has been allocated to investigation and development. Polish state-owned arms manufacture will receive a tiny part of these funds, although private companies, including entities outside the classical defence sector, as well as universities and investigation institutes, participate in the programme in a larger number.
