Migrants are a real problem

myslpolska.info 1 year ago

The problem of immigration dominated the campaigns of the last 2 elections – the Polish Parliament and the Euro-Parliament. There were visions of diseases caused by protozoa brought with immigrants, arsons, rapes and robberies, Islamization of Poland.

On the another hand, it has been considered that it is possible to deploy the proposed relocations among the European countries 1 or 2 families in each parish or municipality. Which view can be taken as its own, is there a "golden measure" between these extremes? How to respond to the influx of people of different cultures into Europe, especially migration and its effects. There is rich literature on migration from Asia and Africa to the European Union. It repeats claims to manipulate and represent migrants in false light.

Such claims were made by Patricia Sasnal in the article "Ten myths on migrants" (Politics, 2.03.2022):

  1. Migrants are increasing. According to the U.N. data, on average, around 3% of the world's population migrates, 75% within countries (from agrarian to urban areas). More emigrates in the event of wars and climate change, and waste of drought; 2. The mediocre migrate to the rich. Only around 30% of the remainder are migrants seeking better conditions (doctors, scientists, skilled workers, craftsmen); 3. On-site assistance inhibits emigration. On the contrary, emigration from mediocre countries will proceed to make $8,000 per capita income. Transfers from expatriates to families in the country exceed repeatedly subsidies from rich countries; 4. exile escapes from war. According to global law, only refugees due to political or spiritual persecution, but not due to poverty! These are mainly taken over by mediocre neighbourly countries...; 5. The tighter the boundaries, the little migration. The closer the boundaries, the higher the cost of migration, the more you look for another possibilities; 6. Migrants hamper economical growth. On the contrary, migrants have contributed to the economical growth of the United States, Germany, etc., as they do work they do not want to do; 7. Migration is more terrorism and crime. Studies have shown that there are no more terrorists among migrants than among nationalists and that most crimes are committed in their own environment; 8. Climate disaster will consequence in mass migration. Drought and floods – the effect of climate change – are indeed a reason for the population to escape, but many more are emigrating due to armed conflicts; 9. Migration – chance or threat? Neither. Migration is simply a social fact, resulting from inequalities in the standard of surviving in different countries, it will be a sustained desire for people to improve their destiny in richer countries. (Janusz Lewandowski believes that immigrants are an chance to make Europe, as its society is ageing and thus a deficiency of labour); 10. A diverse community. 1 reason for emigration may be a feeling of dissension towards the community – national, spiritual or other. It's possible that there's a tolerance to all sorts of differences...

This is simply a liberal truth, somewhat sweetened in favour of migrants, appealing migrants around the world. Let us limit ourselves to Poland. The influx of Chechens increased the number of robberies, assaults on trucks, including rapes; wealthy Ukrainian refugees buy out Polish apartments and companies, firing workers; mediocre people benefit from social benefits before Poles, etc., etc. This is very humane, but it should be applied in moderation. "Acitation" with migrants completely ignores their responsibilities. Above all, an immigrant must recognise the law of the country of settlement, even if it is simply a temporary stay – for seasonal work or for studies.

The immigrant who chooses a permanent residence has 2 options: he can join an existing national minority, or integrate into the nation of the country of settlement, adopt his culture. In the first case, an immigrant continues his national culture, resides in an environment known before emigration, may belong to associations with a circumstantial national identity. However, obedience to state law and absolute loyalty to the state of residence applies. frequently with this loyalty is different, as with German, judaic (East) and Ukrainian minorities before planet War II (after it too).

National minorities, loyal to their country of residence, should in rule be neutral towards their home countries. Supporting the policies of these countries threatening the interests of the country of settlement must origin not only repression of this minority, but besides the problems of national minorities or non-attached migrants in the country of origin. (This is late the case of Belarusian emigration in Poland and harassment against Poles in Belarus.)

National minorities in Poland enjoy full civilian rights, can even settle welding in offices in their own language. This seems to be an exaggeration, the authoritative language in Poland is Polish - all papers should be prepared in Polish! Annexes to the translation of the basic paper into another language are allowed.

He wrote about the second anticipation after October 1956 Antoni Gołubiew in the “Common Week”, addressing emigration: come back, build Poland, the only 1 that exists. Or, say, where I am, is my fresh homeland, I will work for her, I accept her culture. The utmost example of specified an attitude was Kazimierz Junosha-Gzowski. He became Canadian, converted to Anglicanism, worked for Canada in various positions, was the creator of the Niagara National Park. Usually, the change of nationality is due to mixed marriages in the third, 4th generation. Many Werners, Meissners, Koneńcs, Linds and others are proving it. specified conduct is rational, confirming the choice of a fresh national identity, a fresh homeland.

Emigration was always considered evil in Poland. Forced by political events (Great Emigration, planet War II, Solidarity) included soldiers and politicians. Since the systemic transformation beyond seasonal emigration, it has been permanently emigrating from 18 to 28 1000 Poles per year, seeking better working conditions and wages. They are young, adventurers, but besides educated and skilled workers. (Doctors and nurses besides migrate to Polish private offices). It is simply a considerable loss, seen in shortcomings in various areas of the economy.

It is simply a failure to society, but everyone has the right to choose their actions and exercise the right to free movement of people and capital. And yet I regret that they left... By 2021 immigration to Poland ranged from 9.5 to 14 1000 people per year. Migrants mostly joined existing national minorities. As of February 1922, with Russia's aggression into Ukraine, the Ukrainians' escape began; for 2 years about 12 million refugees crossed the Polish-Ukrainian border. Most of them moved on, any turned around. It is estimated that 1.5-2 million were left in Poland – theoretically for temporary stay, until the end of the war in Ukraine. The number of Ukrainian immigrants appears to be underestimated. Poles accepted refugees with sympathy, but as time went by, the feelings cooled and visitors began to be a state problem.

There are a number of immigrants for temporary stay: to work in construction and agriculture, as well as in services and another areas of the economy, to which there are no willing Polish workers. Universities bring abroad students from all over the planet (tuitions!). The Ministry of abroad Affairs issued around 250 1000 visas through consulates and embassies to applicants from Africa and Asia and planned to issue 400,000 visas a year! (Orlen himself employs 12,000 workers from India, Africa – even under inhuman conditions!). However, there is no control of visitors and many find themselves in different countries of the European Union...

Since we've brought in hundreds of thousands of people with dark skin color, it's amazing the action of hatred against them, led by the Law and Justice and the daft fools. In the case of the “hybrid war” of Polish-Belarusian (both sides!) I will mention the conclusions of the articles in the “Overview” (10.06.2024). Prof. Halina Machańska believes that the influx of more and more refugees due to wars and climate change into Europe is inevitable, hence the request for an agreement across the European Union. Its opposition is caused by the violation of the global immigration law ratified by Poland (pushback, non-acceptance of asylum applications and others) as well as the Polish Constitution, about the right to asylum. In the Border Area Act, there are fundamentally no changes. Aid to migrants from the organization is allowed after receiving a pass from the Border Guard...

It seems that a fewer journalists (no politicians) propose that the problem of illegal crossing of the Polish-Belarusian border by African and Asian migrants should be addressed; this should be a diplomatic path. Well, while Poland is not at war with Belarus or the Russian Federation, the diplomatic talks are not even classified.

A fewer loose remarks about immigrants.

– Seasonal immigrants, coming to construction work, agriculture, services, etc., must respect Polish law, not sharia or others. On the another hand, they should be subject to Polish government on wellness and safety, work code, etc. Therefore, the State Labour Inspectorate should supervise the clusters of employed immigrants in order to prevent the abuses reported by the media from Płocki Orlen. Also, does anyone care about the destiny of Ukrainians nurturing older people or doing auxiliary household chores, as well as construction workers, farm workers and others?

– What awaits people who have been granted asylum in Poland, that is, all legal immigrant. If he does not flee to a richer country, he can join a suitable national number or assimilate. But erstwhile the asylum seeker is dark-skinned, he may be exposed to crucial xenophobic distress, although we have become accustomed to individual doctors or couriers. A dark-skinned Pole? Since for known reasons he chose Polish culture and feels Polish!

– According to the experience of Western countries, the creation of abroad ghettos is dangerous. In our country too, the police like not to look... Dispersed, they assimilate faster.

Liberals want to mix cultures, which – as shown Felix Koneczny – is impossible due to the fact that usually 1 wins. Even mixed marriages. These are sometimes not a very certain way to a peaceful life, as Polish-Jewish and Polish-Ukrainian marriages proved during planet War II.

– From the past of the Second Republic we know that besides many Polish citizens belonging to national minorities are causing many different problems. The monoethnic state has adequate problem with its parties... Historical multinational empires fell apart, mostly bloody. This besides threatens the besides integrated European Union.

– According to events in France or Belgium, immigrants in the first generation are not aggressive – they are afraid of deportation. Riots origin a second and 3rd generation, already disappointed by the deficiency of accomplishment and acceptance. There are not many fresh immigrants in Poland yet, there is no second generation of them...

– Soldiers from the armored division were sent to assist the Border defender on the Belarusian border. Should they patrol in tanks and armored cars? In addition, Colonel Grot-Rowecki wrote in the military manual that the military, taken out of the barracks to suppress the manifestation, must shoot, first into the air, then in the run.

– And what will happen erstwhile the dreams of the left and liberals of the disappearance of national states, of a single universal culture, of the world's "ein Volk, ein Reich, ein €uro", of 1 planet government, (American?) and the Gospel prophecy of 1 flock and 1 Shepherd are fulfilled? What do you mean, what? The end of the world!
