Michalik: The PR war begins. Tusk should defeat Nawrocki

natemat.pl 4 days ago
Going to a gathering with Karol Nawrocki to talk about the priorities of Polish national safety and waiting erstwhile Nawrocki was late, Prime Minister Tusk showed features seldom seen in Polish politics: cognition of the art of diplomacy, responsibility, calmness, self-confidence, which does not request demonstration and ability to emergence above his own ego erstwhile it concerns the interests of the country.

Malignant netizens compose that for alter ego Batyr it was good anyway: he could yet challenge the Prime Minister to a fist fight or invitation him to the stand.

Anyway, it is the fact that a photograph of the Prime Minister sitting alone at the table and waiting for him surrounded the media – Polish and foreign. It's quite a few talking symbol. Nawrocki besides did not welcome the Prime Minister to the Presidential Palace. Never head that he showed deficiency of manners – this could be expected, more importantly, does specified a beginning bode Poland's troubles on his part?

Surely specified a welcome to the head of government shows a tendency to think "we versus them". Let's wait for Kaczyński's visit and see how Nawrocki welcomes him. Oh, I'm sorry. possibly Kaczyński's making him come to his home like Duda's.

Nawrocki wants to show that he's more crucial than Tusk.

Since his first contact with Prime Minister Tuski, Nawrocki tries to symbolically show that he is the most important. Of course, the most crucial individual in the area does not gotta convince anyone that he is the most important, due to the fact that if he must, then the most crucial is not – but Nawrocki either does not know it, or does not make a motion under the electorate that does not know it.

What did he want to do erstwhile he was naughty? Prepare the ground not only for the communicative about the strong President, but besides for the image – he knew perfectly well that the media would take a image of the pending Prime Minister and knew that it would not bring him glory in general. But it will impress the PiS electorate, who likes his chosen ones to be rude and arrogant.

The first swallows announce spring, and in the case of Nawrocki's motion – the war on narratives. And for the sake of Poland Prime Minister Tusk should do anything to win it.

The war on narratives begins. Tusk should win it.

It has many assets on its side – its and many ministers' authentic competence and achievements, real successes on the global stage, and unlike the aggressive PiS, it provides Poland with stability, security, predictability and guarantees our continued EU membership.

It's just that it's a occupation on "already" and it requires something I don't see in the government so far: a turbo of professional PR, political storitelling, and a sharp standing with Nawrock and PiS in a war of competence.

The biggest successes of the government are already being silenced, and there is simply a discussion in the media about any irrelevant in terms of the scale of the accidents.

The best example is what I already wrote on the X portal: as shortly as the Prime Minister reported about the suspected spending of 100 billion by the PiS, immediately as the "KPO scandal" came out of the sleeve, in which the "hundreds of thousands of gold spent on yachts and coffee machines". And no 1 in the media, apart from reliable online commentators, noticed that the PiS effectively covered the subject of its immense scandal and again imposed the KO narrative.

It's the Law and Justice that should explain!

I am besides annoyed by the deficiency of self-esteem and the service of besides many coalition politicians who immediately began to explain themselves densely to the writers. Really? I would have waited until the PiS explained 100 billion of these (I stress: billions!), and then I would have checked these translations 10 times thoroughly.

Because unfortunately, the question you ask me often: whether truly everything, virtually everything in the policy of the Law and Justice, must be a lie, is simply a rhetorical question. Of course I do. If the Law and Justice people started telling the truth, this organization wouldn't last a week. due to the fact that their modus operandi is based on a lie: not on presenting facts, but on manipulating their perception.

Who tells the communicative people buy – wins. And it's better for the Prime Minister to realize this rapidly and take it very seriously.

Tusk needs a good PR

The best example of the hazard of neglecting the perception of voters is the situation with a teleconference at Trump, on which he supposedly, according to Nawrocki's media "pushed" his staff. This did not prevent writers from telling the media that president Trump had personally taken care of Nawrocki's presence.

In addition, 3 teleconferences were held, during which talks about the end of the war in Ukraine and 2 Poland were represented by Prime Minister Tusk, and on 1 Nawrocka.

The communicative that went into the planet and lives its own life without any counter-government, however, is that Nawrocki is simply a serious statesman and expert.

It's called PR.
