Deputy Minister of Agriculture Michał Kołodziejczak criticised the Polish People's organization in harsh words, claiming that the organization was putting force on Minister Czesław Siekierski to limit his influence in the resort. In an interview, politicians besides talked about organisational problems in the ministry and the request for reforms.
"PSL wants a monopoly in the Ministry of Agriculture"
Kołodziejczak left no uncertainty – in his opinion, the PSL seeks to take full control of the agricultural hotel and its subordinate companies.
– It must be made clear that the Polish People's organization has a very large influence on the work in this resort. In my opinion, he wrongly attributes himself to the law that if they are in government, they want to have a monopoly on the management of companies under the supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture and the full resort said Deputy Minister.
The politician stressed that without adequate reforms in the ministry, the government may have difficulty gathering its objectives. – But there will be specified an election that without good decisions in this resort, we will not manage. It's gonna be very difficult. – he added.
‘Left to the side by PSL’
Kołodziejczak admitted that he felt marginalized in the ministry, and in his opinion this is due to the concerns of the PSL about losing the electorate to the Civic Coalition.
– The organization exerts force on it (minister Siekierski – ed.) not to let me grow my wings. As if for fear that the electorate that was assigned to the PSL could go to the Civic Coalition – he said.
The Deputy Minister besides criticised the attitude of the people, calling it a "big mistake". – Assigning himself to the hotel by PSL and everything that is subordinate to it, I consider it a large mistake, and here I give a small reminder to fellow coalitionists. And Easter is the perfect time for specified reflection. – he added.
"Resort Needs Thinning"
Kołodziejczak besides pointed out the organisational problems in the ministry, which, in his opinion, are the legacy of erstwhile governments. He proposed to liquidate part of the departments and reduce the number of management posts.
– The hotel has a bad organization that has been "inherited" by the governments of its predecessors. respective departments should be removed and the number of directors and their deputies reduced, which would improve communication and supervision – he said.
The politician admitted that the coalition always clashes with the interests of various groups, but called for greater cooperation. – The interests of circumstantial political parties are always left behind in coalition governments. We can't blame that. Although specified behaviour is part of political immaturity and I have never had specified an approach at work that I do not want to cooperate with colleagues from another political party – he said.
Kołodziejczak stressed that the intent of the current power should be cooperation over divisions. – That's why we went to the election on October 15, 2023 to change it, show that we could work together. I am not saying this to Minister Siekierski, but to his PSL colleagues, who frequently put force on Minister Siekierski – finished.
