The Ukrainian side participating in negotiations with the Polish Ministry of Agriculture powerfully criticises the behaviour of Deputy Minister Michał Kołodziejczak. any representatives of Polish organizations besides share this opinion. They say it was Kołodziejczak's actions that broke the negotiations – “Michael lost his temper and everything went upside down.”
Let us remind that last week there was a gathering of Minister Czesław Siekierski with Mykoła Solski at the seat of the Ministry of Agriculture. In addition to representatives of Polish and Ukrainian agricultural organizations, the talks were besides attended by Deputy Head of the Ministry of Agriculture Michał Kołodziejczak and Taras Kaczka.
On Thursday, Ukrainians accused Kołodziejczak of being influenced by psychoactive substances during the negotiations. The Deputy Minister replied to these allegations on the social portal, stating: “It appears that my arguments in discussions with the Ukrainian Minister of Agriculture proved to be correct.”
– Ukrainians seemingly did not like how well I was prepared to talk to them. – he added in an interview with Onet.

Kołodziejczak claimed that during the talks with the Ukrainians he reached out for substantive arguments and recalled their earlier statements, from which they now want to withdraw. According to the Deputy Minister of Agriculture, the Ukrainians were peculiarly dissatisfied with the reminder of Duck's words that if Poland helped to reduce Russian cereals imports into the European Union, Ukrainians would agree to restrict imports of food products into the EU.
According to Onetu, “in practice one-to-one relations of the Ukrainian side are confirmed by representatives of Polish organizations who participated in talks in the Ministry of Agriculture”. They besides criticize Kołodziejczak.
citing 1 of your callers, 1 reports that “it was truly close to the agreement, and abruptly there was an explosion, Michael went off."
According to information from an anonymous source, Michał Kołodziejczak spent about 2.5 hours during the meeting, entering and leaving the interview room, browsing the telephone without focusing on the discussion. The Ukrainians were to be attacked by him unexpectedly, only in the final phase of the meeting, erstwhile Minister Siekierski left the area for a moment. According to the same anonymous individual quoted by Onet portal, Ukrainians “were very well prepared for this meeting”.
– They showed at the presentation how much grain they had contracted and argued that they could not break contracts a year ago. They wanted the Polish side to let the transit of these respective 100 1000 tonnes – He was reporting an informant.
– We know how Michael behaves, but for individual who had the chance to meet him for the first time, it may have been a shock. – another interviewer claimed.
The fact that during the gathering “it was emotional” and there were words about the legitimacy of which “you can wonder,” said Minister Siekierski. – The Deputy Minister may have reacted a small besides emotionally, but this is his personality – stated. At the same time, he noted that he saw no reason for Kołodziejczak to be removed from the Polish-Ukrainian talks.
– The way he behaved during the negotiations, the way he took his headphones off erstwhile our minister spoke was simply a sign of disrespect – The head of Ukrainian Association of the Ukrainian Agribusiness Club Ołych Chomenko thundered. He besides called the Polish deputy minister “destructor” and “provocator”, claiming that he de facto led to a break of negotiations.
The behaviour of Ukrainians should be commented. And we will do this in 1 sentence: erstwhile individual behaved in negotiations in «Ukrainian» and the Ukrainian delegation howls due to the fact that they did not go their way.
Although we do not have the sympathy of Michał Kołodziejczak, we congratulate him on his courage and his ability to show “negotiators” terrorizing the full planet with their baseless demands where they belong.
