Sławomir Mentzen's election committee reported his candidacy in the presidential election, with 250,000 signatures of support to the State Election Commission. That's more than twice the number required. Chief of Staff Bartosz Bocheńczak announced that the intensive phase of the run is now beginning. Mentzen has more than 200 meetings all over Poland.

Three fast facts:

  • Mentzen collected 250,000 signatures in little than 2 weeks.
  • 100,000 signatures were required for registration in PKW.
  • The Confederate candidate plans over 200 open electoral meetings.

Record rate of signing – Mentzen made a good score

Sławomir Mentzen's electoral staff announced that 250 000 signatures of support had been collected in a short time. That's importantly more than the 100,000 required. The formalities related to the candidate's application have already been completed and Mentzen's name will appear on the ballot.

According to the Confederate associate Witold Tumanowicz, this consequence shows a large mobilisation of sympathizers and good organization of staff. He stressed that support for Mentzen was growing, and his run gained from dynamics.

The run is tempoping

Staff chief Bartosz Bocheńczak announced that the next step would be an intensive run in the field. The plan includes over 200 open meetings with voters. Mentzen wants to scope as many citizens as possible and present his programme.

We've already had over 100 meetings, and we've got another 200. The run continues, and we are fighting for a strong, rich Poland – emphasised Bocheńczak.
