Sławomir Mentzen utilized the parliamentary platform to remind the Prime Minister of the March 2025 declaration. Donald Tusk then announced the preparation of mass military training for adult Poles. The Leader of fresh Hope stated on Friday that after a year and a half there are neither training on the scale promised, nor the plan nor the infrastructure capable of sustaining this plan.
The charge is serious due to the fact that it doesn't affect a side vote. It is about the ability of the state to place trained reserves in an emergency situation. Mentzen combined idleness with regular Tusk warnings against the anticipation of war. He put the Prime Minister before a clear alternative: either he does not believe in alarmist announcements himself, or he believes and does not follow essential preparations.
Prime Minister set the measurement himself
In a March 2025 speech Tusk talked about the request for an army of half a million people along with the reservists. He referred to the scale of troops fighting in Ukraine. He announced intensive training for those who, during peacetime, do not service in the army so that in the event of a conflict, they could become full-value soldiers. The government is obliged to present a solution and take work for it.
Poland has no time for communication policy
Mentzen has hit a weak point in Tusk's office: it's easy to announce an ambitious goal, it's harder to make institutions that will execute it. In defence cases, this difference could cost much more than losing support in the poll. It can cost the safety of families, the continuity of the state and the freedom of the nation.
The Prime Minister should present a timetable, scale, budget and individual liable for the programme. If the government changed its assumptions, it should tell Poles directly. A serious state does not endanger the war to return to average administration a day later. The state of serious prepares the nation to defend before the threat stands at the border.
