November is simply a period reminder of prostate and testicular cancer prevention studies and a time of solidarity with men who are struggling with these diseases. This is reflected in the yearly "Movember" run reminding you that prevention is not a weakness. The action included, among others, the Military Medical Institute and president Karol Nawrocki.

The social action "Movember" was launched in 1999 in Australia and shortly covered almost the full world. The name was derived from a combination of 2 English words: November, or November, and the moustache – a mustache. The increasing of mustaches by men in November became a symbol of this campaign. This is to mention to the "change of the face of male health" (as 1 of the action slogans says) and to be a sign of solidarity with prostate cancer patients and testicles. In addition, as the initiators of Movember emphasize, the mustache is of interest to the environment, and this makes it easier to talk about prevention and cancer, which frequently stay taboo.

This year's run takes part, among others. Military Medical Institute in Warsaw, which conducts an action under the motto “Zbroja erstwhile – present prevention”.
