Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni called the transition of the car manufacture exclusively to non-productive electrical engines.
Speaking at a press conference following a gathering with the German Chancellor Friedrich Merzem, Meloni said that the European car manufacture was "crushed by an excessively ideological approach".
"I believe that continuing to focus solely on the transition to electrical motors whose production chains are controlled not by Europe, but by another countries, is counterproductive," said Meloni.
