Russia did not receive a proposal from the United States to transfer the Zaporosian atomic Power Plant under the management of the Americans, stated the head of Russian diplomacy Sergei Lavrow. However, if specified a proposal should come up in the future, it is not feasible.
Lavrow added that the facility is presently managed by the Rosatom Group and its operation is under constant reflection by experts from the global Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).At the same time, the diplomat accused Ukraine of "continuous attempts to attack the power plant and prosecute a atomic disaster".
The Russian military occupied Europe's largest atomic power plant in early March 2022.
In March this year, U.S. president Donald Trump declared that the transfer of the power plant to Enerhodar under the management of the United States was the best safety warrant for her.
The U.S. peace plan, according to media reports, predicts that the Zaporoska atomic Power Plant will return to Ukraine, but it will be managed by the US. Manufacturedenergy would be sold to both Ukraine and Russia.
