This week “Independent” portal published an article, in which he claims that "the protest of carriers harms Polish border companies". The article refers to Tomasz Bartecki, presenting him as a Polish entrepreneur operating in both Poland and Ukraine. Bartecki maintains that border blockade causes problems to wholesalers and customs agencies, which are dependent on trade with Ukraine. According to him, people who work in these places “are frequently negatively assessing the way carriers protest”. The portal besides emphasizes that protesters receive support from the Confederation, which media specified as independent.pl or “Gazeta Polska” have been critical for a long time.
It is worth noting that Tomasz Bartecki is known for his clear pro-Ukrainian views, including supporting flagism and respect for the Organizations of Ukrainian Nationalists and Ukrainian Insurgency Army (OUN-UPA). Rafał Mekler, co-organizer of the carrier protest and Confederate activist, recalled this in a comment on the social platform. Mekler stressed that Bartecki had declared in the past that he would bring a banned book on UPA in Poland "as a form of protest against borderline censorship".

At the end of the erstwhile month, the portal “Independent“ he published another article in which he was critical of protesting carriers. citing a police report, the portal claimed that for respective weeks, despite authoritative assurances, the protest participants blocked the entry of trucks with humanitarian aid to Ukraine. According to the portal, this situation was an excuse for negative presentation of Poland, especially on the Ukrainian side. The service itself acknowledged that Ukraine uses this communicative for propaganda purposes.
We have late reported on the criticism of the protest of carriers on the border, which was expressed by Paweł Bobolowicz, correspondent for Radio Wnet in Ukraine. Bobolowicz argued that no 1 should have the right to block the border of Ukraine and that specified a blockade poses a threat to the safety of the state. In addition, he urged politicians supporting the carriers' protest to come to the front and explain the situation to Ukrainian soldiers.
