The UK will supply Ukraine with further resources to support citizens and to rebuild businesses. A fewer weeks ago, Prime Minister Keir Starmer promised that Ukraine would receive aid "greater than always before" in 2025, and on Wednesday the details were given by David Lama, who made an unannounced visit to the Ally capital.

British Foreign Minister David Lammy came to Kiev on Wednesday to discuss cooperation and further support for Ukraine. For safety reasons, the information on the visit was not previously disclosed to the public.

David Lammy will announce a fresh visit £55 million in financial support (nearly PLN 280 million – ed.). He stressed that these measures were essential to supply Ukraine with the "potentially strongest position".

– Our support for Ukraine remains unwavering. We are determined to put Ukraine in the strongest position possible, both in the fight against Russia and beyond," he said, quoted by the agency Reuters.

According to the British Ministry of abroad Affairs, under the fresh package £17 million will be allocated to innovative Energy projects, 10 million to aid in reconstruction of Ukrainian companiesand 25 million on Support for citizens.

Three million UK will usage delivery of Ukrainian grain and another food products to Syria with which Ukraine wants to reconstruct relations after the overthrow of Bashar al-Assad, a close ally of Russia.

For the head of the British Ministry of abroad Affairs, this is already the second visit to the war state. David Lammy will meet the President Zelenski Volodymyr and another government representatives to discuss details of cooperation.

Aid “greater than ever”. London declares support for Kiev

Earlier British Prime Minister Keir Starmer pledged to increase military support and promised that assistance in 2025 would be “greater than always before”.

The United Kingdom has already undertaken to allocate £977 million to support Ukraineand to 3 billion for the military and defense. Kei Starmer said that the aid would “be provided as long as needed”.
