Masoneria had a major influence on the formation of American politics, culture and ideology. Many of the founding fathers of the United States were related to this movement or had close ties to the lodges. Mason was besides the first president of the United States George Washington. The influences of freemasonry are very visible, among others, in the capital of the country.
– Characteristic Masonic symbols, specified as a circus or a miner, are located in very different locations throughout the city. 1 of the most clear examples of Masonic architecture in Washington is home of the Temple. This is simply a very awesome Masonic temple," said Marcin Firlej on Polish Radio 24.
