Dear Sympathics!
In the calendar of the Polish national memory, there are fewer dates as poignant as on 1 August – a day which invariably tells us to halt moving everyday life and perceive to the protracted, penetrating sound of sirens spreading out on time at “W” hr and remind us of those who faced an uneven, heroic conflict for freedom before 81 years ago. For many of them it was the first and last chapter of adult life, survived by the heat of conflict and among the ruins of the beloved city.

For us – heirs of their heritage – it is not only a memory, but besides a commitment to realize the meaning of that sacrifice and to decently address the challenges facing Poland today.

Because although the reality has changed, although there are no bombs being heard anymore, the question of fidelity to the values served by the Insurgents remains valid and demands our answer – not only by word but besides by attitude.

That is why, on 1 August at 5:00 p.m., let's meet at the Dmowski Roundabout, to walk through the streets of the capital, as all year, carrying gratitude, respect and tribute to the Heroes. The 14th Warsaw Uprising March is an crucial patriotic act of our national community. A simple and besides crucial motion of thousands of Poles who believe that the memory of Heroes requires expressive manifestation in public space.

It is simply a way to be spiritually close to those who, without looking at fear, have shown that there are moments in life erstwhile for the Homeland you gotta put your full life on the line.

This year, our march is becoming even more important. erstwhile we mention the Insurgents of Warsaw, we must ask ourselves at the same time what Poland wanted, for which Poland gave their young lives – and what we will do with this Poland today. In taking specified a reflection with pain, we must admit that those who exercise power present do not decently fulfil this will.

Germany – those who burned Warsaw and murdered hundreds of thousands of its inhabitants – do not request bombs or tanks to subdue Poland today. They request the government of Donald Tusk, who with disgraceful zeal pursues their political goals.

Ladies and gentlemen, look at the facts – the current power blocks, reduces or slows down the most crucial infrastructure investments for the future of our country, blurs and distorts historical policy, gives up the fight for reparations, allows the pro-German communicative to dominate textbooks and museums.

Help organize the Warsaw Uprising March!

As if all this were not enough, present we are faced with a situation that, without any exaggeration, is 1 of the most serious threats to our national safety that we may face in our lifetime.

Germany, which cannot cope with the migration crisis which they themselves have caused, alternatively of taking work for their own mistakes, is trying to force the acceptance of thousands of illegal migrants into Poland. due to the fact that they don't want them at their place anymore.

They're treating our country like a colony - the facilities for problems they want to get free of. This is simply a blow to the foundations of our society, to its cohesion, safety and cultural identity.

Think about it – isn't this like the hybrid attack that Alexander Lukashenko's government is conducting on our east border? However, there the Polish state – despite all difficulties – resists. Here, on the western front of the same civilian War, power goes hand in hand with an aggressor, implementing the imposed plan with complete submission.

This is why the Warsaw Uprising March is not only a tribute to the past. It will besides be a reminder – to us, but besides to the current "Polish" power and to the full planet – of which Poland was fought for by these young people, who in August 1944 did not calculate the chances of victory, but were guided by a hearty sense of duty.

They fought for a sovereign country, independent, strong with their own spirit and rooted in tradition, free from abroad pressures, constituting a safe and just home for the Polish Nation. They dreamed of a country that would not bow to anyone but talk with its own voice—and that would never again let others to decide for us.

Today, this dream is again threatened – and that is why our presence on the anniversary of the uprising takes on a peculiar importance. We can't let their victim go for nothing.

Therefore, with all my heart, let us be together on 1 August in Warsaw. Meet me at 5:00 p.m. on the Dmowski Roundabout to walk through the capital together and express our love for the Homeland.

And if you feel that you can do more, I besides encourage you to join the March organization. We request people to service in order, information, technical, as well as volunteers who question and care about the frame. all pair of hands, all heart devoted to this substance matters.

Help in the organization of the Warsaw Uprising March

This is another march of the Warsaw Uprising, which I have the honour to co-organise – and although years go by, each time I am accompanied by the same thrill of emotion, as well as the same sense of responsibility.

However, it happens that erstwhile I encounter obstacles, I become discouraged for a minute – like any man. But then I remember the faces of those young people in August 1944. Their courage was not without fear, their decisions were not easy.

Yet they went into an uneven fight – risking everything in 1 moment, frequently without much hope for a happy ending. Then comes the thought: what are my regular difficulties with their sacrifice?

Such moments re-awaken to me how large the work rests on my shoulders present – not only as an organizer but as a Pole. The work to keep this more than a thousand-year-old banner of generations, in which each link – besides ours – has a unique function to play.

And it is the awareness of this work that rekindles the heat in my heart and gives strength to decision on and, most importantly, do not fail.

Hello and glory to the Heroes!
