Marcin Drewicz: Literary Prize Part III: AFFAIRS

Mr. Ygrekowski is staring at the laptop screen... Oh, yes, he most likely knew this Mr. C, sponsor of the Literary Award, long ago, plus-minus forty years – for his early youth. Are our paths besides in the newer times – the 21st century – so that they do not cross a fewer times?

If it's the same guy, then he, Ygrekowski, wants nothing from the another Mr. C (as well as at all from the Chapter); for he has another reasons for doing so for the past years, which we will be silent about here. Why? If only for this 1 reason – and more of them gathered, and this is not the end – Ygrekowski's refusal to apply for this literary laurel is justified. He will not take from Mr. C, even though he is pushing it, not a penny, not a commemorative object, not a diploma, not directly, nor through, for example, the Chapter of the Literary Prize and all this competition procedure practiced by it.

That this postwar unfortunate “Warsaw” must and must continue, so many years after the Polish People's Republic, be this “little village”, this “grayhole”? What have they done with this real Warsaw!? Which, from the pre-war, small remains, besides in humans, have been preserved in any places. It's not much.

That the sponsor, Mr. C, most likely a friend of Mr. Ygrekowski's decades ago, besides had to enter here, in the mediate of the Literary Award Chapter! With its "bagage" in the form of an environment of signatories to the Świecki Manifesto; to meet Mr. B, a signatory of this Manifesto belonging to a different ... environment, and not so long ago – let us remind – the massacre of the fresh "So Needed" by Ygrekowski. My own. The hand washes. And you sneez, and you sneez!!

The amount of the Literary Prize together with the Awards – as we read on the applicable website – closes at most in PLN 1 100 thousand. And where are these celebrated Polish “entrepreneurs”, “freedomists”, “capitalist corifists”? Hopefully not connected, straight or indirectly to the Świecki Manifesto! May they be gathered, in over thirty-million countries, out of ten... There's not even that many?

Ten tiny ones, each 1 would give 10 1000 zlotys a year, and this large one, or 100,000 typical of the Świecki Manifesto environment, or Mr. C, to thank him kindly for his sacrifice so far; and he would lose his voice in the Capitol, so the influence on the evaluation and selection of literary works.

There is something else, namely "agreement above divisions", or something about a mechanics of the erstwhile "Magdalenka", that we will respect it so much. These are supporters of the Świecki Manifesto are “pro”, but there is most likely more than 1 individual who is “anti”. Here you go – any of them will be, not since yesterday or the day before... Judges over Polish literature appearing annually with any of their works. And the second thing here is whether this is an “anti” situation, specified companionship affects or not besides much. How do we know that?

It can be interpreted – for deficiency of, as always (!) in specified times, full knowledge, so based mostly on suppositions – in specified a way that the past fourteen months of the Świecki Manifest was, not the first, a provocation (sic!), specified a “thousand and the first” theatre for naive people in Poland. But besides the events to which the Świecki reacted – did they have no signs of provocation? Who knows? Has anyone been investigating this?

Thus among respective others besides this socially unrelated Mr Ygrekowski, amazed by the list of signatories to the Świecki Manifest, and even more of its most bizarre content, escaped with his online denials and thus, as always in specified cases, hit an illuminated... arena; let it be, indeed... circus.

Aaaa, ooo, ehe – they look through the mirror at this unspeakable, snarling "wad" one, they agree and "pro" and "anti" members of the Chapter of the Literary Prize (this is in the version, erstwhile they besides know about these Ygrek publications; "they should know specified things"). Like this “bad militia” and “good militia”, that is... integrated militia. Isn't it?

That bad is happening with this Chapter of the Literary Prize, this proof first that there was this material to compose the above article. Even if it was entirely circumstantial material, but unfortunately it is mostly circumstantial not... but it is actually intersubjectively verifiable.

The Chapter of the Literary Prize, and this "this" prize, should stand before the Nation as this monolith—immaculate (sic!), giving none, but it is no clue for specified as our above writing.

But, what about the “some” Chapter or the “other” Manifesto Świecki, since we have already – O GROZO!!! – this Letter from the Polish Episcopal Conference on 22 March 2026. What a dynamic of events! What a coordination! What's next for us?
