Marcin Bogdan: FP alternatively of CPK

Does anyone inactive remember present whether young people really know that erstwhile the communists established their power in Poland, they changed the name of Katowice to Stalingarden on 7 March 1953? You can multiply specified examples. If something couldn't be destroyed or destroyed, at least the name had to be changed to break up with the past. A spectacular case was the Institute for atomic investigation (IBJ) in Świerk close Warsaw. During the period of martial law, IBJ's staff proved discontent with power and the power wanted to respond with repression. But the Institute for atomic investigation could not be eliminated, it could not just fire people from work. investigation reactors (including the MARIA reactor) were operating in IBJ, which could not be excluded by the administrative decision of the communist party. Reactors required continuous supervision and service by qualified and licensed personnel. Only IBJ staff had the right and competence to operate reactor installations and could not be replaced by loyal but unqualified organization activists.

Therefore, the Communists decided to release only part of the crew, only the most unruly workers, to then formally dissolve the Institute, setting up a fresh institution in its place, under a new, distinctive name, employing most of the crew and the management of the old Institute. The full operation was expected to come down mostly to a change of name. Therefore, the IBJ Directorate was informed of this decision, while asking that the directorate propose a new, detachable name, which at the same time reflects the professional character of the Institute. I don't know if it's actual or just an anecdote, but 1 of the erstwhile staff of the Institute told me erstwhile that the directorate re-activated under the name: Central Iinstitution Pmind Aand Hydroenergy Ugovernments JI don't know. The abbreviation of the proposed name will not be quoted here for apparent reasons, if you are curious, you will not make it yourself.

In view of this attitude of the staff of the Institute, in 1982 the IBJ was dissolved and as a result, 3 fresh institutions were created in its place:

• Institute of atomic Problems (IPJ) – based in Świerk,
• Institute of Atomic Energy (IEA) — based in Świerk,
  • Institute of atomic Chemistry and Technology (ICHTJ) – based in Warsaw

Only after 29 years, in 2011, the Institute of atomic Problems and the Institute of Atomic Energy were reunitedin 1 National Centre for atomic investigation (NCBJ).

In December 2025, following the above-mentioned old communist regulation of cutting off from the past, Donald Tusk announced, and, of course, a change in the name of the Central Communication Port. due to the fact that he's got a bad name. due to the fact that he associates with the improvement of Poland. all word of that name was a origin of bad associations, not only that Central, it was Port and yet about the horror of communication. Tusk so announced a fresh name – Flughafen Polen. Not CPK but FP. Shorter and more understandable. Especially if there is an airport itself, no railroad, no communication, no ambition and no prospects. Flughafen Polen to measurement Bundesland Polen.

How many years will we wait for the name CPK to be restored? How many years will we wait for the task to be implemented to meet the needs and capabilities of sovereign Poland? How many years will we wait for the final fall of the commune?
