Marcin Bogdan: Barbarian methods

Those are strong words. Do we realize how strong? Again, possibly even read the above message a fewer times. Do we realize how strong the words are? To full realize this, let us scope out to the dictionary definition of the word "civilised methods". Well, ‘Civilised methods are methods of action that respect ethical principles, social and legal standards, based on dialogue, cooperation and avoidance of force in human and social relations." Civilised methods shall have the following characteristics:

• respect for dignity and human rights
• application of law alternatively of self-court
• avoiding physical and intellectual violence
• dispute resolution through negotiation, mediation or courts
• By reason and empathy
• use of language as a means of agreement, not violence

The question, then, can be asked: if not civilized methods, what? The dictionary of the Polish language leaves no illusions, gives a clear answer: “In contrast to civilized methods, there are barbaric, aggressive, violent behaviors that violate adopted social or ethical norms.It’s okay. ” Donald Tusk has officially admitted that he and his government, possibly not the whole, but surely Waldemar Żurek, will apply physical and intellectual violence, will commit self-righteousness, will harm dignity and violate human rights, will reject negotiations and mediation and any form of agreement.

Polish past is measured by dates. The dates of glory, erstwhile in Poland there were civilized methods of rule, and the dates of fall and humiliation, erstwhile Poland was tried to destruct and enslave by barbarous methods. Will Donald Tusk add another date to this tragic list? Will the Polish Earth, as the poet put it, let the Judas to trample? Are we inactive worthy that the Polish Land of God's grace should carry us further to the future?
