Hanging doesn't believe in coincidence
On her profile on the X platform Marcelina Zawisza published an entry with the following content:
Today in the Sejm we are reducing the wellness contribution, which will further undermine the wellness system. And it is present that the majority of the government wants to remove me from the bureau of the wellness committee. Coincidence? I don't think so. If they think I'm gonna halt talking about the consequences of their actions, they're wrong.
On Tuesday, the Parliamentary wellness Committee actually decided to retreat Zawisa from the Bureau of that institution. 14 Members voted, 3 voted against and 3 abstained.
Hanging in her criticism went on, saying:
For the government, it is uncomfortable that I remind them regularly that in the erstwhile word they criticized the Law and Justice themselves for besides low spending on wellness care, and now they want to lower the wellness contribution, which will affect people's lives and health.
Wheels don't belong there.
However, the Chair of the Parliamentary Committee on wellness Marta Golbik gives another reasons. As he explains, at the beginning of this parliamentary term, it was established that the chief of the committee would have 5 deputies: 2 of the KOs and 1 of the PiS, Poland2020-Third Road and Left. Zawisz's MP, representing the Left, after last year's break-up at the club, found herself in the wheel of the Together, who does not have a seat in the bureau. It was in this connection that Golbik applied on 12 March for the appeal of Zawisza and for the appointment to the bureau of MP Joanna Wicha.
Ms Zawisza asked for the floor, but president Golbik said that she would be able to do so only after the vote, which would decide to dismiss her from her position as Vice-President.
I had the impression that we all fought together so that the wellness strategy would have more money, not less. The consequences of your decision will be that patients will wait longer in queues – Zawisz assessed.
Golbik replied:
I've read your social media entries that propose any conspiracy theories about the minute of your appeal. There is simply a place in the Presidium for members of parliamentary clubs alternatively than parliamentary circles. My responsibility I didn't take care of this before.
PiS MP Patryk Wicher proposed to extend the Bureau to 1 place for his organization and 1 place for the Together, nevertheless the application was not considered.
A revision. What's she gonna depend on?
The amendment introduces a two-elemental method of calculating the wellness contribution for entrepreneurs. According to the Ministry of Finance, the improvement will benefit about 2 million 450 1000 entrepreneurs, but the proceeds from the wellness contribution are expected to decrease by PLN 5.854 billion in 2026.
Wiszza observes that changes can encourage self-employment, which may prove wrong, as access to basic wellness care may deteriorate.
