The battles were mainly fought in 2 areas: in the vicinity of Pokrowska and Wuhledar and in the Kurski Oblast. We tried to show that these 2 theatres of action, although more than 400 km apart, are very closely connected. We have besides explained why assessments that deny the request for Ukrainians to carry out an offensive in the Kursk Oblast are inadequate. We did this by pointing out, among others:
