On Wednesday, there was a major water supply failure in Otwocka and Karczev. As president Otwocka Jarosław Margielski pointed out, problems may take respective days. Margiellski besides reported that water is unfit for consumption and drink due to the failure, even after boiling, and that the ban on utilizing it applies until further notice.
‘There was a water supply break due to the failure of the natural water main and filters at the Water Treatment Station. Drinking water distribution points are presently being prepared. The information will be kept up to date," wrote the city president.
At 7 p.m., a municipal crisis management squad was convened.
