Macro wanted to talk to Putin. What were the presidents of France and Russia discussing?

After a three-year break, there was a telephone conversation between Russian president Vladimir Putin and French president Emmanuel Macron. According to Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Pieskov, the contact was initiated by the Elysée Palace, and the conversation itself was of a “material” nature.
